Greek Catholic wooden Church of St. Luke the Evangelist in Brežany is located aside from the largest concentration of sacral buildings in the north-eastern Slovakia. The church was built in 1727 and stands on a gentle slope above the village in the cemetery area. According to the external appearance and internal division it is different from the Eastern Rite churches. The interior of the church is the iconostasis of the 1782.
