Characteristics:
Euroregion Ister-Granum, bearing the names of the rivers Danube and Hron, is an area over 2.000 km2 and the population is approximately 200,000. One of the greatest treasures of this region is the Vine. Formerly it was the wine-growing region of archbishops. It seems that this wine region is again waking up. Villages as Máriahalom, Kamenica nad Hronom, Búč, Mužla whether Kesztölc have famous cellar boards. Belianska wine is well know in the whole world. Legendary is the "Iszomfalva“ too.
