There used to be two Jewish settlements in Žilina. Their orthodox praying-room serves as an exposition in the Jewish culture museum today. The exposition room is divided from the praying-room by a wooden grate. Because of that, you are able to see its spacing. The Little synagogue belongs to the group of the most eminent buildings of modern synagogue architecture in Europe.
