Across the street Palatínova is the dominant building not only the street but also the city - the church of St. Andrew. The first church, which can certainly argue that stood near the present church of St. Andrew, built by the Jesuits between 1674-1677. The church tower with 2 m high statue of St. Andrew's used as a guard tower of the city. Around the church was a Catholic cemetery surrounded by fences.
