The beneficial and regenerative effects of thermal water on the human organism were already known in the medieval times. This “invention” was also exploited by the greatest rulers of the times including King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary who granted Veľký Meder town privileges in 1466. Times change but the princely delights of thermal water remain. Savour this pleasure in THERMAL CORVINUS VEĽKÝ MEDER located in the congenial environment of 80 ha forest throughout the year. 

History:

Our first recreational pool was started in 1974. From the beginning the spa has been supplied by two geo-thermal bores. In 2001 an indoor complex was built with a large pool, a bubble bath and a children’s pool. From 2004 the pools were gradually reconstructed and since 2008 all the pools have been equipped with filters.

• CERAGEM – this thermal acupressure massage bed developed in South Korea helps to refine bloodstream, restores defects and reduces inflammation in the organism.
• Water toboggan slides - 3 toboggans for the summer and 2 toboggans with flash effects can be enjoyed throughout the year.

• From 1^st July until 31^st August – The Island of the Tinies – on this popular Island children are entertained under the leadership of experienced instructors while parents can fully enjoy the services of the thermal park.
