The massive waterfall in Šutovská valley is located in height above sea level 830 m and about 4 km north of the village Šútovo. This is the highest waterfall in the Small Fatra and it has 38 meters. It was created due to crumpling of mountains in Turčianska valley. Waterfall is situated on the expected geological boundary between granite and grandioritms. Šutovsky waterfall is powerd by Šutovsky river which comes from interesting Moses spring. Above the waterfall the river has range 2.5 meters. We will get to this waterfall from village Šútovo following the blue tourist trail, just right around the Moses springs.
