Do you want to admire the beauty of the High Tatras from the top of the mountains but do not have courage and skills to conquer them? Go on a trip to the Lomnický Peak by a cable-car. The cable car ride alone will certainly be an adventure for you. The cable-car overcomes the difference in height of more than 1,700 m and it transports tourists to an altitude of 2634 m above sea level. In the Tatras and also in the entire Carpathian Mountains you can climb higher only when you climb the highest Tatras peak – the Gerlachovsky Peak. In fine weather, the summit of the Lomnický peak offers a unique panoramic view. If the visibility is good, tourists can see over the Belianske Tatras as far as to the Polish lowlands, while in the opposite direction, they can look over almost one fifth of the Slovak territory.
