Around the fusiformed Sqare of St. Egidius, you will find the centre of Poprad, which is bounded by build-up area and bourgeois houses in Baroque and Classicistic style. The most dominating building of the square is the Church of St. Egidius from the 13th century where you can find a significant painting – the oldest illustration of High Tatras. There is also a Renaissance bell-tower from 1658 near the church.
