Horehronie - Banská Bystrica

Present and past history blend together in the centre. The town remembers the 13th century, beginnings of the mining works in the region and it was the birthplace of the Slovak National Uprising during the World War II. It is famous for traditional Radvan markets offering traditional folk products and specialities.
