Characteristics:
The Winter Ski Resort Opalisko is located in the heart of the Liptov region in the Low Tatras above the village Zavazna Poruba – at the foot of the Poludnica Hill (1548 m). It is 5 km distant from the centre of Liptovsky Mikulas. It lies at the altitude of 640 m and rises up to 1030 m above sea level. It offers a pleasant centre of family type with beautiful and prepared slopes, which can be enjoyed by capable skiers as well as total beginners, and especially children. Five artificial snow slopes, four ski-lifts and a chair lift provide adequate comfort, without waiting in long lines. There is a children's area for the smallest ones, tobogganing tracks, and natural ice rink. In the resort you can find also a running area with light and tracks with the total length of 30 km. We organize night skiing and a lot of other exciting sporting events.
