Art-historical and natural collections of Šariš Museum belong to the most valuable ones in Slovakia. The museum has the only separate exposition of iconographic relics of the easter rite. There are icons such as paintings on the wood from the 16th till the half of the 19th century on which the visitor can follow the evolution of the iconographic creation of the Carpathian icons. Icons on the canvas with the theme of the Last Judgment, embroided religious vestments and church furniture belong to the exhibits as well. Museum presents medieval history of Bardejov in the Gothic-Renaissance Town Hall. Exhibits document developed crafting, guild life, trade, textile production and the ways and performance of municipality, municipal law and defense, medieval book culture, education and fine arts. Collection of gothic sculptures, guild items, original seal from 1453, rare goblets of Venetian glass, small Calvary which is the work of Master Paul of Levoča or a diamond ring of Empress Elizabeth belong to the most remarkable collection objects.
