Šachtičky ski resort is located in the Low Tatras in northern, northeastern and southern slopes of Panske dielo. From the town of Banska Bystrica it is situated only 10 km. There are 5 lifts at Šachtičky Center (with a total lift capacity of 2800 persons per hour), including two children's, which together form the new children's area. Parents with children can use children's ski lift or ski kindergarten located in the center. For skiers there are available 9 trails, suitable for recreation but also for professional skiing. Total trail length is 10 km. Ski resort Šachtičky provides great possibilities for fans of cross-country skiing, who can use 14 km cross-country trails. The area also offers a ski service, 2 ski schools, a cafeteria with a fireplace and a large terrace directly on the ski slope. On the basis of the Slovak Association of Lifts, the resort gained 3 stars in the official 5 - stage categorization.
