Eastwards from Komárno - (7 km) at the village of Iža in Leányvár (Dievčí hrad) there are remains of the roman castle - fortified military camp and roman settlement called Celemantia. The Romans gradually built an expansive defensive fortification system alongside the River Danube, part of which was the military camp at Iža. Kastel in Iža was in 1991 declared a national cultural monument.
