Kežmarok

Kežmarok is a monument reservation with a view on High Tatras. A Slavic settlement with a marketplace and a chapel of St. Cross and a medieval settlement with the church of St. Michael turned into the town of Kežmarok. In 1380 received the status of a free royal city. This Spiš town underwent frequent wars during the medieval period. Its greatest enemy was the city of Levoča.
