Kremenec

Kremenec

Kremenec is the highest mountain of the Bukovské Hills and of Slovak part of the Eastern Carpathians and, at the same time, it is the easternmost point of the Slovak Republic. A tourist path to the top of the Kremenec leads from the easternmost Slovak village Nová Sedlica. It crosses the forest area of Stužica. Since 2000, there has been a granite pylon in the shape of a triangular prism placed on the Kremenec. The national emblems of three countries, whose borders converge here, are on the pylon’s edges.
