The Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art in Medzilaborce presents three permanent expositions of works by Andy Warhol, of rare artefacts showing the origin of the artist that were collected or borrowed from the artist’s relatives. The first permanent expositions includes works by Andy Warhol’s oldest brother Paul and his son James. Paul is an amateur artist and lives on farm near Pittsburgh, his son James is a professional artist, illustrating books for children. Paul Warhol paintings can be considered art experiments because he creates colourful decorative paintings by prints of hens’ feet on different coloured surfaces. James Warhol presents two oil paintings in this exposition, namely Modern Gladiator and Witch Workshop. Conceptually, this exposition follows the exposure of the origin of Andy Warhol what includes the documents and artefacts mostly borrowed from his family.
